Relationship Manager - Graduate Opportunity

The IDM Group is currently seeking a Relationship Manager. The successful candidate will act as a consultant in the Relationship Management Team and will be part of a team of financial advisers. The candidate must be highly efficient, energetic, motivated and ambitious as well as being prepared to make a commitment to the business in the medium term.

Key Responsibilities:

The position will involve:

• Proactively engaging clients about their financial needs, including having holistic, meaningful conversations with clients on non-debt counseling financial products and services such as life insurance, credit insurance, investment & retirement products, bank accounts, other insurance and credit monitoring tools
• Managing a book of segmented clients at the agreed upon service levels across client retention, PDA collection, admin fee collection, query resolution turnaround times, pro-active engagement and other (agreed upon) KPAs
• Building relationships with clients and acting as key relationship manager for IDM for those clients
• Creating a financial goal plan and providing a process, including client buy-in, to meet these requirements using our full financial offering
• Responding to and providing feedback on resolved client queries about any part of the client’s IDM portfolio: debt counselling, additional financial services/products, IDM, and National Credit Act
• Negotiating with credit providers on behalf of clients to have assets secured, if and when required
• Getting annual client account reviews conducted, including but not limited to, Financial Counselling, re- budgeting discussions, re-quoting on insurance, etc.
• Providing advice to clients on debt counselling process
• Any other duties as seen fit

Key Requirements:

• BCom or BSc degree (preferable)
• Desire to become a financial planner
• Good understanding of financial services industry and/or experience in a consumer-facing industry
• Relevant knowledge on the National Credit Act and other relevant Acts/regulations
• Excellent knowledge of IDM processes and systems

Digital Communications Coordinator

Primary purpose of the role
Responsible for managing and implementing digital marketing and PR communications for the IDM Group.

The position will work within the Marketing Team and will be responsible for the IDM Group’s marketing and digital communications: websites, newsletters, marketing campaigns, media coverage and relationship management with lead partners and media contacts.

The candidate needs to be energetic, efficient, be able to prioritise with exceptional attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
The position will involve:
• Lead partners
- Management of current partner relationships
- Weekly reporting to current lead partners
- Research on seeking new partner opportunities
• PR
- Maintaining PR databases and media relationships
- Distributing press releases to relevant media houses
- Liaising with media and setting up interviews with IDM senior management 
• Landing pages
- Creating, editing and testing landing pages
- Implementing UTM tracking to new and existing landing pages
• Campaign management
- Compiling and delivering IDM Group brand’s newsletters and distribution thereof
- Managing all IDM Group brand’s email and SMS campaigns
- Reporting on all email campaign performance and performing A/B testing

Key Requirements:

Short term Insurance Advisor

Insurance Busters is currently seeking a Short Term Insurance Advisor that will be responsible to market insurance products to new prospects and maintain relationships with active clients.  This is all done via voice recording and electronic communication. The successful candidate will act as an intermediary for the short term insurance division, Insurance Busters and will report directly to the Short term Insurance Manager.

Key responsibilities:
• Maintaining and reviewing existing clients contracts and conducting annual reviews and identifying potential upselling opportunities
• Assisting active clients
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients and insurance providers
• Offering various insurance products to different risk profiles
• Consulting and advising clients on their Short term insurance needs
• Doing client risk analysis following the code conduct set out in the rules by FIAS and FICA
• Adding new business onto the Book as per set target
• Plan a strategy to achieve sales targets
• Manage ongoing client relationships to ensure desired retention
• Complete all administrative tasks timeously
• Deal with queries from clients as and when they arise
 Keep records as required by legislation

Key Requirements:
• Good understanding of short term insurance industry products and services
• Relevant industry experience and / or qualifications
• RE exams completed

Risk Analyst

Founded in 2004, The IDM Group contains two of South Africa’s largest, leading and multi-award winning debt counselling businesses, DebtBusters and Consumer Debt Help, as well as our FSB regulated Insurance Brokerage, Insurance Busters.  The Group has assisted over 50,000 clients in debt counselling since 2008 and growing at a rate of 1,200 clients per month.
Our growing IDM Risk and Analytics team is looking for a Risk Analyst to join us. This individual will work closely with the rest of the fun and exciting Analytics team, and take guidance from Senior Management. We are looking for the following traits in the ideal individual.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify risk gaps for systems and processes within the business and develop relevant reporting to address the risk
• Refine and improve existing risk reporting metrics/content/method
• Review risk reports and conduct qualitative investigation on high risk items
• Work closely with the Analytics Team to for report development and optimization and identify new metrics to for risk reporting
• Act as escalation contact for all serious risk associated matters within the business
• Conduct weekly meetings with all areas of business, discussing in detail all high risk items with senior members of each respective team. Highlight issues that have not been investigated to a satisfactory level, and follow up on those items on a regular basis until resolved.
• Share reporting and presentations with Senior Management proactively. This will include weekly and monthly trends and create overall risk rating to accurately reflect the business risk at any given time.
• Involvement with various projects across the business including but not limited to:
 Roll out of new processes & systems across the business
 Roll out of new products across the business
 Identification of business process weaknesses and implementation of improvement
 New Ventures

Key Requirements:
• Operational or financial risk background preferred
• Experience in all areas of business is not essential, but advantageous
• Familiar with operational systems used within the business
