Relationship Manager - Graduate Opportunity

The IDM Group is currently seeking a Relationship Manager. The successful candidate will act as a consultant in the Relationship Management Team and will be part of a team of financial advisers. The candidate must be highly efficient, energetic, motivated and ambitious as well as being prepared to make a commitment to the business in the medium term.

Key Responsibilities:

The position will involve:

• Proactively engaging clients about their financial needs, including having holistic, meaningful conversations with clients on non-debt counseling financial products and services such as life insurance, credit insurance, investment & retirement products, bank accounts, other insurance and credit monitoring tools
• Managing a book of segmented clients at the agreed upon service levels across client retention, PDA collection, admin fee collection, query resolution turnaround times, pro-active engagement and other (agreed upon) KPAs
• Building relationships with clients and acting as key relationship manager for IDM for those clients
• Creating a financial goal plan and providing a process, including client buy-in, to meet these requirements using our full financial offering
• Responding to and providing feedback on resolved client queries about any part of the client’s IDM portfolio: debt counselling, additional financial services/products, IDM, and National Credit Act
• Negotiating with credit providers on behalf of clients to have assets secured, if and when required
• Getting annual client account reviews conducted, including but not limited to, Financial Counselling, re- budgeting discussions, re-quoting on insurance, etc.
• Providing advice to clients on debt counselling process
• Any other duties as seen fit

Key Requirements:

• BCom or BSc degree (preferable)
• Desire to become a financial planner
• Good understanding of financial services industry and/or experience in a consumer-facing industry
• Relevant knowledge on the National Credit Act and other relevant Acts/regulations
• Excellent knowledge of IDM processes and systems
• Excellent verbal communication skills

Senior Marketing Manager

Primary purpose of the role
Responsible for driving the success of the IDM Group in the South African marketplace, for managing the entire Marketing function within the group and for the overseeing of the marketing team.
Energetic, enthusiastic and intuitive marketing strategist with exceptional leadership and communications skills. Proven ability to identify opportunities and deliver effective strategies to generate results. Experience and adept in strategic marketing, digital marketing, branding and product development.

- Create the IDM Group’s marketing plan and oversee the implementation of the strategies contained within
- Articulate product and service offerings, their key benefits and messages to create compelling marketing campaigns based on the strategies agreed and drive lead gen/client acquisition for the IDM Group
- Develop and implement promotional and collateral material in support of the marketing plan
- Responsible for PR for the IDM Group: writing releases/articles, media pitching and media relationship management
- Regular reporting and presentations to internal senior management

Digital marketing
- Develop and manage the digital marketing strategy
- Manage the development of marketing collateral across all media channels
- Oversee content, look and feel of the group’s websites, ensuring content is fresh and current
- Work with SEO consultant to ensure content is fully optimized across all digital touchpoints

Team management
- Grow and develop the marketing team, keeping them motivated by encouraging creativity and innovation
- Manage the effectiveness of the work done by the marketing team by ensuring it is targeting the right audience per campaign

Lead generation
- Create effective, compelling positioning and messaging relevant to the target audience and campaign objectives
- Stay up-to-date with marketing trends to drive topics for lead gen campaigns
- Execute marketing campaigns and analyse performance to leverage behavioral trends and to drive lead gen and client acquisition

Project management
- Responsible for overseeing all projects managed by the marketing team: meeting deadlines, time management, contingency planning, approval channels and procedures, budgeting, campaign analysis and tracking/monitoring procedures
- Establish and communicate project scope, strategy and objectives to internal clients in order to manage expectations and delivery thereof
- Manage the creation of all marketing assets: graphic and digital design, video production and web development, from concept to completion

Market research and competitive intelligence
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities for the IDM Group in terms of product offerings and differentiators
- Partake in client interviews, with the Client Experience Manager, to obtain insight into client stories and trends and make recommendations to management
- Conduct marketing surveys when required

Budget management
- Compile, implement, monitor and control the marketing budget

- Marketing related degree with 5+ years’ management experience

Data Analyst

Our growing IDM Risk and Analytics team is looking for a Data Analyst to join us. This individual will work closely with the rest of the fun and exciting Analytics team. We are looking for the following traits in the ideal individual.

Key responsibilities:
• Help drive efforts for continuous data accuracy and quality improvement
• Produce actionable information for different business units within the IDM group to support, retain and acquire clients
• Develop and automate key business metrics and KPIs for the various business units
• Prioritise new ad-hoc report and data analytics requests and deliver accordingly
• Manage data quality
• Work with the various business heads and managers to create:
 Visual dashboards
 Exception management reporting
 SLA management reporting
 Data accuracy
• Involvement with various projects across the business including but not limited to:
 Roll out of new processes & systems across the business
 Identification of business improvement ideas and implementation thereof

Key Requirements:
• Experience in a BI analyst or similar role preferred
• A degree preferably in Statistics, Information Systems, Engineering or Mathematics
• Familiar with operational systems used within the business

• Knowledge of BI tools, such as Tableau and SSRS, preferred
